LONGVIEW, Wash., June 22, 2018 – Nearly 400 guests attended Buccaneer’s Ball to support charity care and community benefit programs for Community Home Health & Hospice.
The annual gala is a party with a purpose. Event chairwoman Kirsten Amrine said, “We are neighbors taking care of neighbors – that’s what makes this a great community.” More than $162,000 was raised to support the agency’s charity care and community benefit programs. Patients and families helped by this support receive free service, extraordinary care, hospice in skilled nursing facilities, grief support, respite care, translation services, special recognition through the We Honor Veterans program and other much-needed services that depend on community support for sustainability.
