Longview, Wash., April 21, 2014 – Community Home Health & Hospice (Community) announces registration is open for Home At Last 2014: a lil’ bit of paradise charity care fundraiser. This fundraiser will be held on Friday, May 2 at 5:30 pm at the Cowlitz County Regional Expo Center. Purchase your tickets online at www.chhh.org/paradise or email paradise@chhh.org.
This event supports Community’s charity care program which provides home health and hospice services such as care for uninsured and underinsured patients, inpatient respite care, telemonitoring, grief support and translation and transportation services. Last year, the agency spent nearly one-half million dollars on charity care!
Don’t miss out on this year’s fun, with fire-knife dancers, specialty drinks, mystery gifts, the new “dessert island dash”, a game of heads and tails, and the ever-popular King Brothers Band! This year, The Gallery of Diamonds, Inc. donated a beautiful 14k gold and diamond palm tree pendent specially designed by Bob Crisman for the event. Valued at $1,495, Crisman hopes to raise at least $2,000 in raffle ticket purchases for the charity care program. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event for $20 each or 2 for $30. Purchasers must be present to win.
