LONGVIEW, Wash., November 12 –The public is invited to Light up your night! on Thursday, November 19 from 5 – 7 pm at the James Avery Grief Center/Ken Henderson Memorial Garden located at 1000 12th Avenue in Longview. Visit the center and garden to light a memorial luminary and enjoy activities and refreshments sponsored by Community Hospice in recognition of National Hospice Month.
Community Hospice joins agencies across the nation to raise awareness about the benefits of hospice services. Community has cared for Cowlitz County hospice patients and families since 1978. In 1984, it opened the state’s first freestanding hospice care center in Longview. Over the years, thousands of lives have been touched by Community’s hospice programs.
