When the Parrett Family had to say goodbye to their patriarch earlier this year, they were able to do so in peace with the love, care, and support of the Elaine and Don Heimbigner Hospice Care Center team.
“Hospice requires an army of the most skilled and best trained individuals to be successful,” said the Parrett family. “(We) can’t imagine going through the ‘end of life’ process without this hospice team by (our) side; every aspect was professional yet full of compassion and delicate care.”
Tashina Wilcox, RN, clinical manager of the care center, recalled a quote from Phil Jackson when thinking of her team: “The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.”
