The spread of COVID-19 has brought about sudden and difficult changes for everyone, and you can play an important role helping our community battle this disease on the front line.
Our agency serves a highly-vulnerable population—the elderly, those with chronic conditions, and the dying. These patients have the highest risk of getting and succumbing to COVID-19. Our nurses, therapists, chaplains, social workers, and aides go into the community everyday caring for patients where they live to keep them in their homes and out of facilities. Our staff feel called to do this heroic work, but our agency doesn’t want them to provide care without the equipment they need.
Like most healthcare providers, we have a shortage of masks, gowns, gloves, and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) our staff need to provide care safely. That’s where you can help us:
Please join me in supporting the troops on the front line who are bravely fighting COVID-19. Consider making a contribution to our COVID-19 Crisis Assistance Fund, volunteering to sew PPE or asking people in your circle to sew PPE.
Visit our website to find out how you can help in this effort. With all hands on deck, we will succeed and can make sure everyone can stay in their homes and OUT of the hospitals and nursing homes! This is critical…right now! One of the best things you can do is to maintain social distancing, so that we can arrest COVID-19 in its tracks! Break the chain of infection by staying home whenever possible! Thank you.
