The public is invited to a free presentation to learn about advanced directives on Wednesday, November 15 from 2:30-3:30pm at the James Avery Center for Grief Support located at 1000 12th Avenue in Longview. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Support Services Coordinator Erin Orren, MSW, LCSW will explain advanced directives and share some important points about Washington State law pertaining to decision makers. Orren stated, “Advanced directives are the best possible assurance that decisions regarding future medical care will reflect our wishes in the event that we are unable to express our wishes. Every person age 18 or over should prepare a directive.”
