LONGVIEW, Wash., May 14, 2014 –Community Home Health & Hospice (Community) brought in nearly $115,000 during this year’s Home At Last 2014: a lil’ bit of paradise charity care fundraiser! More than 400 people showed up to “party with a purpose” at the Cowlitz County Regional Conference Center on Friday, May 2 and helped exceed the agency’s goal of $100,000.
Event proceeds went to support Community’s charity care program which provides home health and hospice services such as care for uninsured and underinsured patients, inpatient respite care, telemonitoring, grief support and translation and transportation services. Last year, the agency spent nearly one-half million dollars on charity care!
