Free volunteer orientation for Community Hospice
LONGVIEW, WA, September2, 2014 – Community Hospice, a division of Community Home Health & Hospice, is seeking compassionate individuals (especially veterans) to volunteer with hospice patients in Cowlitz, Columbia and Wahkiakum counties .A free 18-hour orientation is scheduled for September 16, 17 & 18, 2014.The training will give the volunteer the necessary knowledge to provide companionship and respite for hospice patients and their caregivers. There are other volunteer opportunities at Community Home Health & Hospice with the Longview Hospice Care Center, Hospice Thrift Store, special events, and office support.
