Six-Week Class, January 8, 2019 – February 12, 2019
LONGVIEW, Wash., Dec. 10, 2018 – Community Home Health & Hospice is offering a free, six-week grief education group in Longview. Class starts January 8, 2019, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, at The James Avery Center, 1000 – 12th Ave., Longview, and continues weekly through February 12, 2019.
“There is no set length for the grieving period,” said Erin Orren MSW, LCSW, Support Services Coordinator. “The benefit of participating in a group like this, is that grievers help each other through the shared experience of grief. The more you learn about it the more equipped you will be to walk through it.” This class is a good first step for people 3-6 months after losing a loved one. Pre-registration is required.
