VANCOUVER, Wash., September 3, 2019 – Community Home Health & Hospice is kicking off Give More 24! with a barbecue sponsored by Koelsch, Umpqua Bank, and Frito-Lay. Make a quick donation, be entered into a prize drawing and join us for lunch September 19, 2019, from noon – 1pm at Seasons of Hope Garden, 3102 NE 134th St., Vancouver. Help kick-off our 24-hour fundraiser for our charity care/community benefit program. Your donation will help us continue to provide services for the most vulnerable in our community. Those unable to attend the barbecue social can also support by giving on-line on September 19, 2019, at https://bit.ly/GiveMoreCommunity.
“I love the (bereavement) group, it has been life changing for us. My boys want to be like the volunteers here, to help others through grief,” said Deborah, grief support group attendee. Community Home Health & Hospice offers free bereavement support to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one, not just those touched by hospice. The charity care/community benefit fund supports Community Home Health & Hospice’s grief program, Pet Peace of Mind, Veteran Care, and extraordinary hospice care.
Give More 24! is a 24-hour, on-line giving marathon that supports local nonprofits. Thanks to matching funds and prizes, your donation can go further. Join in and see what happens!
