Community Home Health & Hospice CEO Greg Pang was elected to the board of the Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW) to serve a two-year term from 2015 to 2017. He served previously on the board from 2008 to 2010.
HCAW is the most diverse in-home services association in Washington State representing home health, home care, and hospice providers. Members also include affiliated healthcare professionals, providers, consultants, and vendors. In this era of health reform, HCAW actively promotes partnerships among members as well as external providers. HCAW provides advocacy, education, and support to achieve the triple aim of healthcare: improved quality, reduced cost, and improved health.
Pang has served as Community’s chief executive officer since 2005. A native of Washington State, he has provided compassionate, community-based healthcare for more than 27 years. Pang’s prior experience was with Good Samaritan Home Health & Hospice in Puyallup, WA and Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, WA. Pang earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a master’s degree in health administration at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA). Certified as a home/hospice care executive, Pang is published in professional journals and has presented at national, state and local conferences. He also served on the board of the National Association of Home Care & Hospice.
