LONGVIEW, WA, October 28– Join St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Longview on Sunday, November 1, 2015 for a Service of Remembrance and Healing. The service will begin at 7 pm followed by light refreshments and fellowship.
This fall, Mother Kathleen Patton and the congregation at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church celebrate their 10th annual Service of Remembrance & Healing! Throughout the last decade, this event has raised nearly $6,500 for Community Home Health & Hospice (Community) services and equipment.
“This year the Columbian Choral Ensemble and the Lower Columbia Threshold Choir will perform, followed by a short message and lighting of candles in memory of those we have lost,” said Mother Kathleen about the November event. “The entire evening’s offering will be donated to Community.”
“St. Stephen’s has held this remarkable service for the past 10 years and it has provided a very meaningful way for the community to honor and remember loved ones. I am looking forward to attending the service this weekend and hope anyone that can will join us,” said Community President & CEO Greg Pang.
