E. Kenneth Henderson Memorial Garden

Hydrangea'sStroll this award-winning memorial garden and remember your cherished loved ones. The E. Kenneth Henderson Memorial Garden is named in memory of community philanthropist Ken Henderson whose thoughtful bequest planted its seeds. The garden is open and free to the entire community, not just hospice families. It offers a serene setting with beautiful plantings, water features, a potting section and quiet areas for reflection.

This stunning sanctuary is a gift for the entire community, made possible through community support. Casey Heaton of C & R Tractor and Landscape served as the general contractor, making significant in-kind and volunteer contributions. At the January 2014 Lower Columbia Contractors Association’s Construction Excellence Awards & Banquet, Casey received two awards for the garden—the Community Project Construction Excellence Award and the People’s Choice Award.

Other generous garden supporters include Nancy Chennault; James E. Clary Land Company, LLC; HD Fowler Company; Glenda and Thomas Gillihan; Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, Longview; Dr. and Mrs. Larry McRae; Newrock Homes, Inc.; and US Bancorp Foundation.
