Community Home Health has been named to the 2009 HomeCare Elite™, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. This annual review identifies the top 25 percent of agencies and further highlights the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall. Community is the only SW Washington home health agency to earn the 2008 Top 100 HomeCare Elite designation. Ranking in the top 100 among the nation’s 9,000 Medicare-certified home health agencies means that we produced better patient outcomes than 99% of the other U.S. agencies. Our patients had fewer emergency room visits and hospitalizations while healing at home, resulting in faster recovery and lower medical costs. |

Community is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body that recognizes excellence in community-based healthcare. Community is Medicare-certified which means that Medicare pays for the cost of home health and hospice services that we provide to Medicare patients. Community meets Medicare health and safety standards for home health agencies and hospices, and participates in rigorous survey inspections. |

Community is licensed by the states of Washington and Oregon to provide skilled nursing and therapy care. Home caregivers are licensed, certified, bonded and drug screened. Our agency and staff meet state requirements to ensure excellent patient care and safety. |
